download.jpgAlthough students have gone home for the summer,, we’re working hard to ensure that our high school visitors have an exciting campus experience all summer long. We offer a variety of summer visit options during the week in order to make a Hood College visit a convenient and pleasant experience for students, families, counselors and groups.

This summer, Hood will be hosting five Summer Preview Days. Each Preview Day will take place on a Friday and will allow students and families to participate in an admission presentation, tour our campus, and enjoy lunch with faculty members. Many families will find it a great first stop on their way to a weekend trip to Washington, D.C, Baltimore, or just to enjoy all there is to see and do in Frederick!

In addition to offering special events on campus, we are also open for tours during the week. During each individual visit, students and their families will have the opportunity to sit down and chat with an admission counselor and take a student-guided tour of campus. Visit options are available each morning and afternoon, Monday through Thursday.

We are also beginning to prepare the programming for our Fall Open Houses! This year, the open houses will be held on October 14 and November 11. During these events, students and their families will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members, current students, and coaches, take a tour of campus, and enjoy a meal. Partnership
